Stories

Translated from the Spanish original.

What are you thinking about on the other side of the screen? What do the bits I perceive from here conceal?

There are faces rendered as photos, or a choppy voice that depends on the bandwidth. That is what happens in this Zoom space where strangers connect from different places on the planet. Have you ever had this kind of safe space to talk from behind a screen?

It is surprisingly comforting, perhaps a feeling similar to sitting around a campfire. The marshmallows are missing, and the tents, the cold, the fire, but what connects us to one another remains: STORIES.

When you tell your story, you create. You create inspiration, you create community, you create humanity… you create a new story. Best of all, we can create together. This time I talked about a Zoom space (because it shortens geographic distances), but over a coffee or sharing a table you can recognize that same moment of creativity.

Just think of everything you have gone through to be here at this very instant reading this. I have no idea who will read it; if you read it you may not remember it tomorrow; if you remember it, it will give you something; and if it does, let’s break the doubts that come from not knowing your story, and let’s talk.
